The extra virgin olive oil of the Berici Hills is born in a land of long tradition. Several types of olive trees are of this area: Rasara, Favarol and Compostara. These olive trees date back to the Roman Empire and the oil produced was well appreciated by the the Bishops, the Princes of Barbarano, the Dukes of Venice and the famou architect Andrea Palladio.
