A stay at the Majestic Toscanelli is a unique experience.
It has for over a half of a century been known as “The Boutique Hotel of Padua”.
It is the only hotel situated in the historical center of Padua, in a traffic limited area. Only a few footsteps away from the three famous squares of the town: Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza della Frutta and Piazza dei Signori.
Our hotel is only a short walk along quaint medieval streets and arcades to reach the most important historical sites and monuments. These aspects make the Majestic Toscanelli the ideal place to stay both for business travellers and people in search of the magic of history and art.
The Morosi Family, who have a fifty year long experience of running a hotel, together with their staff, have always done their utmost to please every single guest and make their stay as pleasurable as possible.
There are 32 rooms in the Majestic Toscanelli Hotel:  3 suites, 3 junior suites and 26 doubles; divided on 3 floors, 2 non smoking and 1 for smokers. They are all uniquely furnished in different styles:  nineteenth century English and venetian-baroque.  Every detail has been carefully considered in order to give the best comfort and hospitality.
All double rooms have comfortable beds or twin beds with bathrooms en suite, some with showers others with tubs. Guests can choose between a room overlooking the little square in front of the hotel, or a quiet courtyard at the back.
The Junior Suites are very wide and comfortable rooms; they receive light from two windows over looking the little square in front of the hotel. They have a bedroom and a reading corner with a sofa which can be transformed into 2 beds, which makes the room ideal for families with young children. The bathrooms are spacious, too and have been recently renovated.
All of the Suites are similar in structure and are composed of three separate rooms: a bedroom with television, a lounge with television and a large bathroom with shower and tub. Each Suite is furnished differently and embellished with trompe l’0eil decorations - reproductions of paintings by Canova, Giotto and Leonardo after whom the rooms are called. The natural sun light that filters through the many windows highlights these marvellous works of art. Special attention should be given to the beautiful hand-embroidered cushions, tissue boxes and wooden inlaid trays from Florence.
In all rooms and everywhere else in the hotel a free Wi-Fi internet connection is available. For whom, who doesn’t have a laptop with him, there’s the possibility to use the Internet Point which is in the Lobby.
Our guests are allowed to drive in the traffic limited area and then the hotel provides valet parking facilities.
